As promised, today I'll be reviewing the Moomin themed foundation I picked up recently from the Korean brand, Code Glokolor.
The actual full name of the foundation is the C. All-Uid Foundation Ex and I grabbed mine in the shade medium 20.5. and as far as I can tell there are only 2 shades available and I chose the lighter of the two. Obviously the lack of choice for shades is pretty disappointing but it's actually quite standard for Asian makeup companies.
The pictures I've included above show my bare face, my face with just a thin layer of the foundation patted into the skin and how the foundation looks with the rest of my makeup applied.
As you can tell, the foundation has pretty decent coverage. It evened out any redness or dark tones in my skin while still looking relatively natural.
I have pretty normal skin. Not particularly oily and not too dry either so I found this foundation lasted pretty well on my skin with a fine layer of powder to set it.
The product never fully sets down on the skin so I'm not sure how it would last without a little powder on top. I also get the feeling that if you have overly oily skin this wouldn't last a full day.
After afew hours of wear, I noticed my nose and chin had developed a little bit of shine, nothing crazy but I can imagine if my skin were oilier I would have needed to blot and powder more than once throughout an average day.
If you're a fan of Moomins and are wanting to try something from this collection, I would only bother with this product if you're one of the few who can find a shade match and have normal combination to drier skin, otherwise I would give it a miss.
