If you're not familiar with A'Pieu, don't worry, neither was I, but for the past several months I've been branching out into the world of Korean cosmetics and this little eyeshadow palette is one of my favourite finds so far.
I'm a sucker for cute packaging (and Korea excels in this area) so when I saw this Doraemon themed palette, I couldn't resist. Doraemon is a Japanese character, I believe, and one that featured on some stationary and stickers I owned in primary school, so this little face was definitely nostalgic for me.
The palette comes with eight gorgeous eyeshaows. The shades are soft and pigmented, blend well and last long on the eyes. The colours are warm in tone (a personal preference) and consist of six shimmer and two matte shades.
I was shocked as to the quality of these shades, they're definitely comparable to some of my more expensive eyeshadows from brands like Urban Decay or Too Faced. The packaging may look like it's intended for kids but the product is definitely top notch.
If you're interested in trying out some new brands I can personally recommend sites such as Jolse, KoreaDepart and BeautyNetKorea for their prices, product range and international shipping rates. To be honest, I can't remember which of these sites I ordered this particular palette from, but I've used all three several times and have never been disappointed.
